Responsible for the administrative affairs of the bureau; in charge of the daily operational work of the bureau such as documents, telephones, event managements, confidential issues, archives and so on; undertaking the work of information, complaints, motions, recommendations, proposals, security and confidential issues, disclosure of governmental information and so on; organizing and supervising important work; undertaking the drafting of important documents; responsible for investigation and researches on environmental protection policies and key topics, and putting forth counter-measures and recommendations; organizing the comprehensive analysis on environmental situations; and organizing the compilation of chorography and yearbooks.
