Responsible for drafting local legislations and governmental regulations on atmospheric pollution prevention of Beijing, formulating and organizing the implementation of relevant policies and standards; organizing the composing and implementation of the atmospheric pollution prevention programs and annual plans, and the phased control targets and prevention measures of atmospheric pollution; establishing and organizing the implementation of air quality assurance mechanisms; and organizing and coordinating the trans-regional cooperation on atmospheric pollution prevention.
