Responsible for drafting local legislations and governmental regulations on radiation environmental protection, radiation safety prevention and electromagnetism prevention of Beijing, formulating and organizing the implementation of relevant standards and programs; conducting unified supervision and management of the pollution prevention of radiation environmental protection, radiation safety and electromagnetism and so on, and undertaking relevant administrative permission work; organizing monitoring on radiation environmental and supervisory monitoring on key radiation sources; organizing investigation, handling, characterization and classification of radiation accidents; and responsible for nuclear facility management within the scope of its authority.
