Xu Qing, male, Han Chinese, born in 1959, is from Shenyang, Liaoning, member of Communist Party of China, on-job undergraduate and senior engineer. Now, he serves as the deputy inspector of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.

He served as the deputy director of Technology Department of Meteorological Bureau of Air Command, director of Equipment Finance Office, director of Science and Technology Department (deputy division commander) of Air Force No.7 Research Institute, and deputy director of Institute of Aeronautical Meteorology and Chemical Defense of Equipment Academy of Air Force.  

He is responsible for the noise pollution control, radiation environment safety management and environmental monitoring.

He shares responsibility for Radiation Safety Management Office (Noise Environment Management Office), Environmental Monitoring Office, Municipal Environmental Monitoring Center, Municipal Radiation Safety Technology Center and Municipal Radioactive Waste Management Center.
